South Zealand & Møn’s Christmas markets are open until Christmas Eve – with open workshops, treasure hunts, visits from Santa Claus and his trusty elves and much, much more. There are experiences and activities for the whole family, so go ahead and make the Christmas shopping trip a pleasant family outing.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a white Christmas, but we are not afraid to promise lots of genuine Christmas hygge.

Experience true Christmas spirit in Denmark's largest Christmas market, where 150 stands are filled with Christmas gifts and other bargains.
9th-10th of November
Experience the unique KADOH Christmas Gift Market on November 9-10 at Grønnegades Kaserne, Næstved. Free admission from 10 am to 4 pm. Find perfect, local, and handmade Christmas gifts, from the hostess gift to a treat for yourself. Here are stalls filled with home decor, art, jewelry, and fashion.
Weekends in December
Visit the Parade House at Gisselfeld Abbey, where the Christmas spirit is at its peak. Sign up for one of the two workshops, where you can make your own Advent wreath or create your own Christmas basket with fruits and vegetables from the Orangery. Get blown away at the design Christmas market at Holmegaard Værk on November 16-17. Admission to the market is free, featuring up to 120 stands filled with Christmas gift ideas from some of the country’s finest emerging artisans and designers. This year, you'll find more than twice as many stands compared to last year’s Christmas market. You can even blow your very own glass Christmas ornament.

Get into the perfect Christmas spirit at Gisselfeld Kloster, host of Denmark's coziest Christmas market. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Christmas market, and it will be celebrated in style.
This year, your ticket also includes access to parts of the castle, and the little ones can meet Santa in Santa’s Grotto beneath the castle.

Fuglsangaard opens its doors for the Christmas market. Here, you'll find Christmas trees, decorative greenery, ornaments, and, of course, mulled wine and Danish doughnuts (æbleskiver) to keep you warm.

Visit Bakkegården’s Christmas Market, where you’ll find plenty of stands. Here, you can buy everything from decorations and ornaments to handicrafts and local delicacies.

Visit the Christmas-inspired "farmers market" at Radius Distillery in Præstø and buy some Danish produced gin and other specialties.

Experience the Klintholm Christmas Market on December 7 at Klintholm Manor’s Farm Shop. Klintholm Manor is also part of the East Møn Christmas Route on December 14-15. You can also purchase your Christmas meat here, as there are still fresh supplies of Klintholm Beef from their happy cows. Explore a selection of sausages, ribeyes, roasts, and other delicious cuts.
