Næstved is the destination’s largest and liveliest trading town. You’ll find a charming town centre filled with speciality shops; Næstved Storcenter, which offers indoor shopping; and Næstved Megacenter, which is home to the largest stores.
Næstved City
Næstved has a buzzing retail and food scene with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and cafés. The town centre is perfect for a picnic, and a good selection of cafés and cosy bars makes it easy to find a “parking spot” for those less enthusiastic about shopping. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a market day in the town’s central square, Axeltorv, where it is possible to find a wide selection of flowers, fruits and speciality items. Several times a year, “Citynight” events are held, where there are many exciting activities and Næstved’s shops are open until late.
If you visit the town around holidays such as Christmas, Halloween or Easter, you are sure to find the squares and streets decorated for the occasion.
In Næstved, there are more than 2,000 free parking spaces, and if they are all full, you can always find a spot at one of the three car parks in the centre, but note that these are not free.
Næstved city har et rigt og livligt handelsliv med mange forretninger, restauranter og cafeer. Bymidten er som skabt til en osetur, og et godt udvalg af cafeer og hyggelige drikkesteder gør det nemt at finde en ”parkeringsplads” til de mindre shoppinglystne i selskabet. I Næstved City er der mere end 2.000 gratis p-pladser, og skulle de være fyldt op, kan I altid få plads til bilen på en af de tre betalings p-pladser, der er i byen.
