Camp Adventure
A day at Camp Adventure begins with arrival in the beautiful surroundings near Gisselfeld Kloster, where nature provides the perfect backdrop for an adventurous day. Start by challenging yourself in the climbing park’s 12 courses, featuring over 150 obstacles of varying difficulty levels. There’s something for everyone, from the youngest at 3 years old to the more experienced climbers. You can try zip lines and swing between the trees, and for the bravest, Denmark's longest zip line, stretching 500 meters, awaits. The little ones can also enjoy an obstacle course in a cozy spruce plantation and meet the animals at the petting zoo.
When hunger strikes, enjoy lunch from the food stalls in the courtyard, where there are plenty of cozy spots to relax, either with food from the stalls or a packed picnic.
After the break, it’s time to experience the Forest Tower, an architectural masterpiece that offers a unique experience and a visual journey through one of Denmark’s most beautiful forests. Starting at the base of the Forest Tower, the journey spirals upwards through 12 levels to a height of 45 meters. The tower narrows at the center, bringing you close to the three beech trees preserved in the middle. When you reach the top, a spectacular 360-degree view opens, covering the South Zealand landscape and stretching to Copenhagen and Sweden on a clear day.
After an active day, retreat to Camp Adventure Forest Village, where you can stay in Forest Yurts or Valley Cabins overlooking the valley. Choose the Lakeside Lodges for safari atmosphere by the lake. Enjoy an evening with food over the fire, a warm bath, or a sauna with a view of the lake and deer grazing nearby. End the day with stargazing, before waking up to morning coffee and the sounds of the forest coming to life.
Your visit ends with a walk through the large flower farm, where you can pick a beautiful bouquet to wrap up your adventure, and perhaps a stop at the cozy shop, where you can find a keepsake, local delicacies, and products from Camp Adventure’s production.
