Feddet Beach
Child-Friendly Sandy Beach
Feddet Strand is one of South Zealand’s best and most popular beaches. It stretches for several kilometers along Feddet. With its shallow waters, Feddet Strand is a fantastic child-friendly beach, featuring plenty of soft, white sand—perfect for building beautiful sandcastles and unleashing creativity and imagination.
Plenty of Activities
In addition, the beach offers a variety of activities during the summer, including horseback riding along the shore, beach volleyball, relaxing in our large beach tent, as well as unlimited water play and fun on our floating jumping and obstacle courses.
Parking at Feddet Strand requires payment.
Kitesurfing
Feddet Strand is also one of the best kitesurfing spots in South Zealand. In westerly winds, you can use the spot at Fed Harbour and surf in Præstø Fjord, while in easterly winds, you can surf from the beach in Faxe Bay. At the harbor, there is a small beach where you can start directly, a cozy environment, as well as toilets and a shelter with a fire pit—perfect for enjoying your packed lunch after a great session on the water. The fjord around Feddet is very shallow, making it an excellent spot for beginners.
